(Students engaging Contemporary Issues Discussion: Mental Health through Hot Seat and Role Playing)

- Presented a Digital Open Classroom on Facilitating Contemporary Issues, focusing on mental health lessons using drama pedagogy - Roleplaying and Forum Theatre.

- Showcased experiential learning activities tailored for Normal Academic (NA) stream students to encourage authentic discussions as a spec-actor.

Differentiated Instruction through SLS

- Conducted an Open Classroom session using SLS for Differentiated Instruction (DI). Showcased strategies for tiered tasks to cater to diverse learners in a photo manipulation lesson for Secondary 2 Art.

- Conducted a micro-teaching session using similar approach encouraging teacher participants on the use of subgroups and differentiation assignments.

- Host and Moderator for webinar and panel discussion on AI, focusing on its role in customising and transforming students’ learning experiences.

- Discussed approaches to integrate museum resources into school-based art lessons

- Led the design and execution of 'Strengthening Tier 1 Learning Support' through the use of visual organisers - Know, Want to Know and Learnt chart (Teaching Action 5).

- Shared strategies using various platforms for implementing visual organisers to support inclusive learning

SgLDC Virtual Meet 1

- Designed and executed a Sec 3 Art lesson using DI and Generative AI to facilitate artwork analysis, incorporating handling boxes and differentiated products e.g. manipulated photos, AI-generated art, or drawing.

- Shared insights on leveraging generative AI to spark curiosity, promote creativity, and provide personalised learning opportunities for diverse student needs.

ICT - Technology Week (2024)

  • Conceptualised school-wide Technology Week, with Cyber Wellness initiatives, a drama skit assembly and pop-up engagement booths.

  • Created student-led fringe activities such as iPad tips & tricks by Tech Champs, drone-flying and basic photography workshops by Infocomm Technology Club, promoting digital literacy and innovation.

ICT - Cyber Wellness Initiatives

  • Initiated the use of iPad lock screens as an educational platform, this practice was adopted by the Year Head team, CCAs and various departments.

  • Collaborated with ITD to conduct phishing exercise to assess student vulnerabilities and raised awareness of cyber scams through experiential learning activities.

Publicity - Corporate Manifesto Video

  • Led the creation of a corporate publicity video for the school, working closely with external vendors to ensure the video aligned with the school's branding and values.

  • Collaborated with various stakeholders to curate a cohesive narrative showcasing the school’s vision, mission, and achievements.

Publicity – Experience YC Day

  • Led the Publicity Committee in planning and executing Experience YC Day in 2023 and 2024, inviting primary schools to participate in engaging curriculum activities.

  • Facilitated communication across departments and external stakeholders to ensure the event's smooth execution and alignment with school objectives.

Art - School Mascot Design Competition

  • Initiated and led a school-wide open call for mascot designs, engaging students in the design, voting, and naming process for the school mascots.

  • Employed the use of mascots for various school events and materials, including standees, cards, Zoom backgrounds, and stickers, strengthening school identity and culture.

Art - School-Wide Challenges

  • Spearheaded innovative art challenges, including a school-wide NFT Art Challenge in 2022, receiving 67 submissions and fostering entrepreneurial and creative skills.

  • In creating NFT artworks, two of the students were featured in the Singapore Art Museum's Little Red Dot Contest, showcasing Singapore’s beauty and sights.

Art - 45th Anniversary Well Wishes Wall

  • Conceptualised a commemorative well-wishes wall, co-created by Art Club and the school community in celebrating the milestone.

  • Coordinated the signing of the wall by MP Mr Tharman during the Taman Jurong Student Development Award in 2023.

Art - Collaterals for Homecoming Event

  • Played a key role in creating visually appealing and cohesive event materials (dinner tickets, programme booklets, social media posts, and sticker decorations) to uplift school spirit and celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and YCSS Homecoming.

Infocomm Club Initiatives

  • Supported school in Photography and PA needs for various events.

  • Led students to conduct IMDA-SERVE activity where students conducted workshops for elderly participants at Toa Payoh Library, teaching iPad applications.

  • Coordinated a photography workshop at Heartbeat@Bedok in 2024, empowering students to teach younger participants, fostering active contributors.

Art & Crafts Club

  • Motivated students to contribute to community initiatives such as the PAssionArts, fostering intergenerational engagement through co-created artworks.

  • Guided students to create works for real-world use. These include designing table artworks supporting the Clean Tables Campaign at Taman Jurong Food Centre, and creating toys for underprivileged children using recycled materials; where they cliched 1st prize at PacificLight Crea8 Sustainability competition.

Applied Learning Programme (Marine Robotics)

  • Redesigned ALP framework for students

  • Created a platform for the Tier 2 ALP members to speak at a school wide level and guided them to share their learning and experiences in various STEM competitions.
